HR Strategy
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals, considering the unique dynamics of a remote and culturally diverse workforce.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment process for hiring employees and contractors across APAC, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
HR Policies and Compliance:
Develop, review, and communicate HR policies that comply with local labor laws and regulations in APAC countries.
Employee Engagement:
Foster a positive work culture by designing and implementing engagement initiatives, recognizing and celebrating achievements, and addressing concerns promptly.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, regular check-ins, and performance reviews, promoting continuous growth and development.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, resolving conflicts and ensuring a harmonious work environment.
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and comply with regional standards.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and facilitate learning and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the remote workforce.
Remote Work Infrastructure:
Collaborate with IT to ensure remote employees have the necessary tools and infrastructure for effective and secure remote work.
Cross-Cultural Communication:
Promote effective communication and collaboration among employees from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity.
Contractor Management:
Manage relationships with contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and adherence to company policies.
Legal Compliance:
Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations across APAC countries, ensuring the company’s compliance.
Conflict Resolution:
Mediate and resolve conflicts, providing guidance and support to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Remote Team Building:
Organize virtual team-building activities and initiatives to strengthen team cohesion and camaraderie.
Data Security and Privacy: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, implementing measures to protect employee data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and legal, to address HR-related aspects of global business operations.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelors degree from a renowned university or MBA HR
6+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
PHR/SPHR certification preferred
Knowledge of labour law and compliance
